Six bands, six festivals: from June 2024 to January 2025, the Revelland artists are ready to bring their multisensory livesets to some of the most important European live music festivals
On April 6, 2024 the Revelland bands showcased their multisensory and accessible livesets at Sencity Festival, the world-famous sensory stimulating festival inspired by deaf culture and the inability to hear music. After months and months of intense study, experimentation and rehearsals the band were ready to share the results of their hard work.
Lyra Valenza, K!NGDOM, CUT_, Bratři, The Anahit and One Eat One are now ready to share the results of their work all across Europe, touring in some of the most important live music festivals of the Continent: from Denmark to Spain, embark with them on a journey towards inclusion to broaden the knowledge on accessibility in the live music industry!
Where will the Revelland bands perform?
Roskilde Festival (Denmark): June 29 – July 6
Northern Europe’s largest festival, whose first edition took place in 1971. Since 1972 it has been 100% non-profit, and volunteers play a huge role in its organisation and management.
The festival will host Lyra Valenza, the first Revelland band to perform in this European tour.
Colours of Ostrava (Czech Republic): July 17 – 20
Colours of Ostrava is a multi-genre international music festival held annually in Ostrava, Czech Republic, since 2002.
K!NGDOM, CUT_, Bratři and The Anahit will bring inclusion and their multisensory livesets to the festival.
Sziget (Hungary): August 7 – 12
The world-famous Hungarian festival is not only about the musical experience, but a whole lot more: It’s about love, art and freedom. It’s a music and cultural festival offering visitors a summer full of concerts, art programs, performances, talks and much more. This year Sziget will also reserve a special place for inclusion and accessibility, as all the Revelland bands will be performing.
Cooltural Fest (Spain): August 15 – 18
Cooltural Fest is a music festival especially sensitive to social and environmental sustainability, with the mission to develop a music festival that can be enjoyed by any type of person, regardless of their abilities. Speaking of inclusion, the festival will host the Revelland project with multisensory live sets from One Eat One, The Anahit, K!NGDOM and Bratři.
KeepON LIVE FEST (Italy): September 25 – 26
At KeepOn LIVE FEST owners and artistic directors of the Italian Live Music Venues and Festivals gather every year. Live music also plays an important role in the program, which gives booking agencies and management the chance to promote emerging artists.
One Eat One and CUT_ will be both performing on September 26.
ESNS (The Netherlands): January 15 – 18
Last but not least, the bands will be performing at ESNS (Eurosonic Noorderslag): the showcase festival and conference held in Groningen, dedicated to the promotion and discovery of new European and Dutch music from mainstream pop to progressive finds.
